Steve Francis, PT
Steve grew up in Fairfield, Connecticut and went on to earn his Physical Therapy degree at the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania. He and his wife Dana raised their family in Virginia and came to New Jersey to be near his wife’s family. Steve’s professional experience is in a variety of physical therapy settings including acute rehab, home health, acute care, outpatient rehab and he has worked with many different patient types and diagnoses. This allows him to be a well-rounded generalist who can treat a variety of patients from adolescents to geriatrics. Steve has extensive training in the McKenzie Method (MDT) and finds it to be remarkably useful with most patients especially in the outpatient orthopedic setting. His goal is to teach each patient how they can best help themselves correct an injury or manage an ongoing issue effectively.
Steve is happily married since 1993 to Dana and they are blessed with two wonderful children, Kelly and Christopher and now their spouses, David and Alli. Their family is growing as they are expecting a grandchild. Steve enjoys being outdoors, hiking in the Pine Barrens, bike riding, swimming in the Mullica River, and exploring Southern NJ with their yellow lab, Bailey.
