What to Expect

Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises!

Your First Visit

Your initial visit to our office is an opportunity for you to interview us. After a friendly and inviting new patient telephone call, we will make your appointment.

Our primary goal for day one is to get to know you, understand your problems and concerns, and determine whether this is the best place to get you the results you desire.

We will perform a comprehensive chiropractic examination and probably take spinal x-rays. This initial visit will last about one hour.

Second Visit

When you come into the office for your second visit, we will review the results of your initial tests and x-rays (if x-rays were taken). We will explain what is wrong, what must be done to fix it, how long it is going to take, and your financial responsibilities.

If you are accepted as a patient in our office, you will receive your first adjustment. This visit will take approximately 20-30 minutes.

Regular Visits

Each follow up visit will take about 20-30 minutes, depending whether you are receiving any therapeutic modalities or exercises.

Once your pain is reduced and you have been instructed on home care exercises, a typical adjustment will last about 5 minutes.

Sadly, it's not until this later stage that they consult our Linwood chiropractic office. Yet, even with the delay, most are delighted by the results produced by today's chiropractic care.
